This week I helped a great friend make a queen size blanket out of all her Aggie T-shirts. It turned out amazing!!!!

Tab Skirt!

This past weekend I had my 10 year high school reunion and not only got to catch up with old friends but got to meet their beautiful children! This week's craft was a special order project from a mom of one of those beautiful kiddos. She and her husband teach at the same high school and wanted a "school spirit" skirt for their daughter. It turned out AMAZING!!!! It might be my favorite thing so far.

Tool Belts!

This week is all about the boys! These cute belts make the perfect pocket for your child's favorite toys or tools. They measure about 12 inches across and 6 inches down. They have 3 sections/pockets and a "hammer" loop on the side. Bryce loves his!!!

Fun Dresses!!!

So, I've been playing around with the pattern of a bandana dress and here is what I've come up with. These two-toned dresses have tailored arm holes, pleats and a ruffle bottom . . . cute, cute, cute! The sizing is the same: fits most girls 18 month- 4/5T as a dress and 5 and up as a top. Length is 18-20 inches. Contact me for additional questions about sizing. I'm working on some for little girls (1 and under)!

Memory Lovey!

What is a lovey? A lovey is an object (in this case a blanket) that a child may use as a comfort. The first few years of life are full of change an new experiences. Young children enjoy having a special item that they can take with them when they are on the go. This lovey is special because it is full of memories! I used 20 pieces of material that were significant from my son's first year. Example: hospital blanket, coming home outfit, burp cloths, favorite bibs, 1st Christmas outfit . . . Once it was finished I sat down with him and "told stories" about each square. It was a tearful moment for me and one that I would like to share with you!
All you need is 20 items that are special to you. Remember, anything goes (bibs, blankets, onesies, pants, jackets, towels, burp cloths, mittens, pieces from mommy and daddy's childhood blankets or pillows) I will cut these items into 4 inch squares for the lovey. I would recommend sending a few extra items . . . whatever I don't use I will send back. I will also need one receiving blanket that your child used for the back on the lovey. The final product is about 15 1/2 inches wide and 17 inches long. If you are interested and need more details feel free to contact me.
